The “Dimitrie Cantemir” Ecological Foundation was established on the grounds of the belief that Romania and its people deserves and can achieve the standard of life and civilization of the most developed countries in the world.

Romania has been blessed by God with natural beauties and riches more than many other countries and its people is born Christian, intelligent, hospitable and tolerant.

All these qualities are underestimated and this has a negative influence upon Romania's cooperation with other countries. The task of this foundation is to spread culture, science and art through the formation of experts and specialists in various fields of activity contributing to a higher standard of civilization and the appreciation of national values.

We would like the foundation to polarize the spiritual and material contribution of the Romanians' all over the world in order to promote every where the values of their native country. We also hope that the different ethnic groups (nationalities) living in our country will help us to develop mutual relationship and promote the values of Romanian culture and to cooperate for reciprocal advantages with the countries whose languages they speak and use.

The Foundation is concerned and acts for the promotion of long-termed cooperation with educational institutions and foundations from Romania and other countries to establish exchanges concerning curricula contents, pedagogical teaching systems and information exchanges at students' and teachers level.

The “Dimitrie Cantemir” Ecological Foundation Tirgu Mures will do every thing that is possible and necessary to become a local centre of culture and spirituality trying to serve faithfully Romania by means of honesty, dedication and steady work.

Everything we are going to do or achieve will be a homage to the memory of the foundations spiritual guide, the great scholar Dimitrie Cantemir.

In these circumstances, we must have in view the complexity of teaching field and its peculiarities.
The teacher's work is not only to convey information but also to prepare the students for LIFE by sharing experience, doubts and conceptions.

The teacher is the MASTER. Completely aware that his/her disciples are going to step on the stage of socio-professional life with the knowledge they have acquired, the teacher isresponsible for the field called curriculum.

The professional compound is largely connected to the social compound and nowadays most of the educational institutions round the world integrate both compounds in their curriculum.

These were the conditions offered in Romania for the establishment of private education. These kind of institutions, having in view the needs of the work market, promoted an educational offer centred upon specific specializations for the market economy.

During all these years the “Dimitrie Cantemir” Ecological Foundation has recorded only positive results (both on secondary and university level) which found their final goals illustrated by the number of graduated students working in the field they were prepared for.
